Min Li, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor, Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, RPI

Dr. Min Li is an Assistant Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Before joining RPI, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She obtained her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University, and holds a B.Eng. and M.S. from Southeast University, China.

Her research focuses on risk assessment and mitigation, as well as resilience-based decision-making for civil infrastructure systems under natural hazards. She leverages surrogate modeling, machine learning, and data analytics to improve computational efficiency and enable solutions to complex engineering problems.
